Тема уроку: Clothes and Colours.

Мета уроку: Узагальнити знання учнями лексичного та граматичного  матеріалу з теми. Формувати навички зв’язного мовлення, навички аудіювання. Розвивати навички читання й активізувати навички говоріння. Виховувати поважне ставлення учнів до своїх однокласників, до своїх речей, вміння працювати в групах та самостійно, інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

Тип уроку: узагальнення матеріалу.

Обладнання: комп’ютер, проектор.

Матеріали до уроку: відео №1, відео №2, схеми, картки для гри,  кольорові олівці, розмальовки, паперові ляльки та одяг.



Procedure
I. GREETING.

T: Good morning, dear children! I’m glad to see you. How are you today?
Ps: We are fine. Thank you.
T: What about the weather today?
Ps: It’s fine.
Ps: It’s  frosty.
Ps: The sun is shining.
T: Thank you.

II. WARMING-UP.

T: Today we’ll speak about colours. Do you know any poems about colours? Can you recite them?

P1: Yellow is a star.
Yellow is the sun.
Yellow is the moon,
When the day is done.

P2: Orange is an orange.
Orange is a carrot.
Orange is the colour
of the beak of a parrot.

P3: Blue is the ocean.
Blue is the sky.
Blue are the blueberries
I put into the pie.

P4: Green is grass,
String beans and peas.
Green are the branches
on Christmas trees.

P5: Red is an apple.
Red is a cherry.
Red is a rose.
And a ripe strawberry.

III. THE MAIN PART.

1.   Revising the lexical material. The game.


T: But today we are going to speak  not only about colours and about clothes. Look at the blackboard, there are two diagrams that will help you.

T: Let’s revise the words.


2. Writing.

T: And now listen to the song and then be ready to complete the sentences.

3. Speaking.

 T: Well done! Now you have the cards.  You have to find the words to the topic CLOTHES and then say them.

4. Physical break.

T: Stand up, please. Let’s have a rest. Listen to the song, watch the video and do the same.

5. Reading.

T: Do you like painting? Yes, of course. Everybody will get a text and a picture to it. Read the text and colour the picture.

TEXT
Timon is a clown. Timon has a hat, a jacket, a shirt, trousers and shoes on.

1.     Timon’s hat is yellow.
2.     His shirt is green.
3.     His jacket is brown.
4.     Timon’s  trousers are blue.
5.     And shoes are red.


T: Make up 4 questions to the text and answer them.

6. Listening.

T: Do you want to play a game? Split into two groups: the boys’ group and the girls’ group. Each group will have the dolls and the clothes for them. Listen to me attentively, choose the correct clothes  and put it on him/her. The girl’s name is Meg and the boy’s name is Pete.

TEXT

1.     Meg is wearing a green dress.
2.     Pete is wearing a red T-shirt and jeans.
3.     She is wearing a blue dress, white socks and blue shoes.
4.     He is wearing  pink T-shirt and black shorts.
5.     She is wearing a yellow and brown dress.
6.     He is wearing jeans and a white jacket, etc.
